Something of a one tim hideaway in the hills of northern Tochigi Prefecture, just over an hour from Tokyo on the Bullet Train, Nasu is todat a well established, and built up resort area catering to entertaining the kids in the summer, adult skiers in the winter, and hot spring lovers year round. The local Epinard Hotel is particularly recommended for its hot springs and food as are several of the local theme parks aimed at kids and the whole family - no fast and furious Disney things here.
